An energy crisis hits the United States, a series of
earthquakes rock Southern California, and three volunteers disappear while
investigating alleged environmental violations by a major energy corporation.
Is it all coincidence, or are larger forces at work? When investigative
reporter Matt Nash is assigned to write a perspective on the energy crisis, his
instincts tell him there may be a connection. Refusing to be intimidated by
dangerous car chases through the city, gunfights with mysterious assailants,
and further aftershocks from the quakes, Matt seeks to uncover the truth and
